  • And more!

Let our insurance programs safeguard you against liabilities and risks unique to the emergency service fields. Below are the insurance carriers we represent and the lines of coverage available.

Property

Guaranteed Replacement Cost coverage is available for your buildings and business personal property. Additional property exposures include flood, earthquake, business income and extra expense, equipment breakdown, software, and data, as well as newly acquired property.

Commercial General Liability

Emergency Services Liability and Fire & Rescue Services Liability include coverages such as emergency services errors and omissions, directors and officers liability, medical malpractice, employment-related practices liability, dispatchers liability, pollution liability, and more.

Business Automobile

Business Automobile coverage protects your organization and its members from potential lawsuits arising from motor vehicle accidents. Coverage for damage to your private passenger-type vehicles can also be provided. Available coverage options include liability for hired and non-owned vehicles, medical payments, fellow member liability, uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage, physical damage, full glass coverage, towing and labor.

Emergency Apparatus

Emergency Apparatus coverage provides physical damage coverage for your emergency vehicles on an Agreed Value basis, with a scheduled limit of insurance selected by you; no depreciation due to age! Guaranteed Replacement Cost coverage is available for new model year vehicles. Additional enhancements include coverage for members’ vehicles, substitute apparatus, rental reimbursement, full glass, and towing and labor.

Portable Equipment

Portable Equipment provides Guaranteed Replacement Cost coverage for equipment used away from your premises. This covers items such as turnout gear, defibrillators, EMS kits, portable radios, pagers, drones, golf carts, boats, and ATVs. Additional exposures include members’ personal property, patient’s property, computers and software, and commandeered property.

Umbrella/Excess Liability

An Umbrella/Excess Liability policy is designed to provide extra limits of insurance above the primary limits provided under a commercial package policy. It also covers damages and any legal defense costs you incur if the coverage under the primary policies is exhausted.

Cyber Liability

Cyber liability claims are on the rise; if your organization has stored patient information or members’ personal information on file, you could experience a security breach that may cost thousands to remedy. Cyber Liability coverage protects five parts: Network Security Liability, Privacy Violation, Cyber Extortion, Security Breach Notice, and Crisis Management.

Crime

The ESIP program has expanded the definition of an employee within their Commercial Crime policy to include all board members, non-compensated officers, directors, treasurers, and volunteers. Coverage is available for employee theft, forgery or alteration, and theft of money and securities.

Group Term Life

Group Term Life Insurance provides 24-hour coverage where benefits are payable on or off duty. This group insurance is offered as guaranteed issue coverage with no medical questions. An organization can purchase up to $100,000 of Group Term Life Insurance per member.

Accident and Health (A&H)

An Accident and Health policy can supplement the gaps in a typical Worker’s Compensation insurance policy, and in many cases, provide benefits that are not available through Worker’s Compensation. Coverage options include weekly disability benefits payable up to LIFETIME. An A&H policy also includes Family Expense Benefits, which reimburses a family member who assists in caring for an injured person confined to a hospital or receiving outpatient care. Such expenses include food, gas, lodging, childcare, and even the family member’s lost wages. There is no waiting period to qualify for this benefit.

24-Hour Accidental Death and Dismemberment

A 24-Hour AD&D Policy covers all eligible members, whether they are on a call or off-duty, anywhere in the world. Limits are available up to $500,000 and include coverage for accidental death, dismemberment, severe burn and disfigurement, coma and paralysis, prosthesis appliance, medical evacuation, home alteration and vehicle modification, bereavement and trauma counseling, and more.

First Responders Assistance Program (FRAP)

This program offers confidential resources and support at any time, day or night, for first responders and their families for issues such as stress management, depression, family conflict, anxiety, grief and loss, relationships, financial and legal, addictions, problem gambling, child and eldercare. FRAP is provided at no charge along with a Provident Accident and Health policy.
